  • 1 lb cabbage, in slivers
  • ½ lime lime juice
  • 2 tsps fish sauce
  • 3 tbsps shallot oil
  • 1 plum tomato, deseeded and sliced into slivers
  • 2 tbsps pickled ginger
  • 3 tbsps fried shallots
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • ½ cup peanuts, crushed

directions

Salt and thoroughly toss cabbage, then let rest for at least a half hour (overnight is okay). Squeeze out the resulting liquid. Throw together everything else except the shallots and toss, then top with shallots.
